Marianne Kennedy has functioned in a variety of capacities for the past 20 years at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, including Hospice Care, Long Term Care, Regional Directorship responsibilities to her current position of Vice President of Hospital Market Development. In her current role, Marianne oversees hospital accounts across all regions, collaborating with Enterprise Sales and Operations senior leadership to ensure the provision of high quality health care services. She is responsible for ongoing research activities, analyzing the impact of internal and external market forces, preparation of reports on findings and recommends strategic initiatives to maintain/improve the Enterprise’s market position. She also is responsible for consolidating knowledge about the Queens, Nassau and Suffolk market and coordinates community and promotional events within those regions.

Marianne received her R.N., B.S.N. from Adelphi University and has over 30 years of Acute Care and Home Care nursing experience. She has a Master’s degree in Public Health Administration with a concentration on Health Administration from Long Island University/C.W. Post University. In addition, Marianne is a recent graduate from Duke University’s Population Care Coordination program which promotes the use of evidence-based strategies to help improve patient care and engagement across high risk patient populations. Marianne is very involved in several professional organizations including American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Leaders of New York and American Business Women’s Association.
